Veteran Nollywood actor, Dayo Adewunmi, known to many as Sule Suebebe, has died at the age of 68.

The Yoruba cinema star died on Wednesday morning at a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, following a prolonged illness.

Suebebe's death was confirmed by Pastor Ademola Amusan, a close friend who recently helped care for the actor.

Amusan shared the news on his Facebook page, writing: “It’s a sad day. Baba Suebebe died in hospital this morning. That his soul rests in peace.”

Recall that in 2023, the Suebebe attracted attention after publicly asking for financial assistance and apologizing for its bad past.
