RE-IMAGINE: Cabaret of singers and songwriters scheduled for June 22

YORKTOWN singers from MVC Performance will present an evening of innovative covers, mashups, medleys and original songs at Persnickety Crane Café on June 22.

RE-IMAGINE will feature new musical arrangements of songs from popular artists such as Beyonc, Walk The Moon, One Republic, Taylor Swift, Adele and Andra Day.

Additionally, attendees will be the first to enjoy the world premiere of three original songs composed by the studio's songwriters, as well as mashups of beloved Broadway musicals such as Beetlejuice, Chicago and Evita, all accompanied by from a live band.

Performers hail from Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Chesapeake and Elizabeth City, North Carolina, according to MVC Performance.

This is not a studio recital. It's an immersive musical experience! The lineup of singers includes Eileen Byrne, Jennifer Cousette, Sammie Gaskell, Miranda Steele, Heather Birdsill, Mikayla Cartwright, Gabriella Cartwright, Naomi Bond, Timothy Anderson, Nina Valerio, Shawn Cartwright and Melissa V. Cartwright. The live band consists of Shawn Cartwright on drums, David Dodsworth on bass and guitar, and keyboardist Melissa V. Cartwright.
