A Hollywood fundraiser for President Biden, featuring George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Barbar Streisand, brought in more than $30 million for his campaign on Saturday night.

Biden flew nine time zones from the G7 summit in southern Italy for the occasion, sending Vice President Kamala Harris to a summit in Switzerland in his place on how to end the war in Ukraine.

During their discussion, Kimmel asked Biden what he considers his greatest accomplishment during his term so far.

“We have the strongest economy in the world today,” Biden said. “We try to give equal opportunity to ordinary people. »

The event, held at the 7,100-seat Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, also featured Jack Black and Sheryl Lee Ralph singing, while actors Jason Bateman and Kathryn Hahn introduced Kimmel. Sista String and The Silhouettes were also among the performers.
