There is a makeup department for me, there is a hair department and there is a department manager who chooses his team. (If anyone asks for unnecessary things on the sets, I remove the actor. For me, makeup and hair is a department headed by a HOD who selects the members). If anyone makes such unnecessary requests, I'm replacing my actor and I don't care. This is why I work with newcomers. I don't care how big a star is, I'll cut them out of the movie. I will not allow it because it is work,” he said in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble.
He also denounced the practice of reserving 50 to 60 percent of the production cost for stars' fees. “When you make a film, you spend more money on production than on making the film. Actors don't care about their fees because the market dictates them. I stayed within the limits of the kind of films I made, and sometimes I even gave up my fees.
