Free tickets available for Colbert and Daily Show tapings during the DNC
Late night host and Northwestern University graduate Stephen Colbert will broadcast The Late Show With Stephen Colbert from Chicago's Auditorium Theater during the Democratic National Convention this summer.

Free tickets are available online for tapings of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and The Daily Show in Chicago during the Democratic National Convention.
Colbert will tape shows at 7 p.m. Aug. 19-22 at the Auditorium Theater, 50 E. Ida B. Wells Drive. Guests will be announced later.
Tickets are available at 1iota.com. An FAQ on the site states that the show lasts approximately 75 to 120 minutes to film and guests must stay for the entire duration. You must be at least 18 years old to register for tickets, but attendees can be 16 years old if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Colbert will also broadcast from Milwaukee during the Republican National Convention, July 15-18.
Tickets can also be requested for tapings of The Daily Show during the convention at 1iota.com. Check-ins are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. daily from August 19-22.
No venue has been announced and the site states that the number of tickets issued will exceed the capacity of the venue and therefore a ticket does not guarantee admission. Audience members must be at least 18 years old.
The comedy news show will also be in Milwaukee in July for the Republican convention.
