Fourth of July Fireworks, Events Start Early in the High Desert
The 19th annual Spring Valley Lake Fireworks Show will kick off a series of Independence Day-themed events hosted by various High Desert organizations and mountain communities.
The Patriotic Air Show is open to Spring Valley Lake members and guests, with the show starting around 9 p.m. on Saturday June 22.
Membership cards are required to attend the event at Spring Valley Lake and anyone using a guest pass to enter must be accompanied by a member with a photo card.
The fireworks can also be seen outside of Spring Valley Lake, in places like Apple Valley, Hesperia and Victorville.
Lucerne Valley
The Lucerne Valley Fireworks Committee will present a fireworks display from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 at Pioneer Park, 33187 Hwy. 18, next to the San Bernardino County Fire Station on Old Woman Springs Road.

The event will feature food, games, a beer garden, live music, vendors, games and lots of surprises. Doors open at 5 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m. The Lucerne Valley Market at 32946 Hwy. 18 will accommodate parking, with buses and hayrides to the park.
The Independence Day Parade is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, July 4, and will take place on Highway 18 from Trade Post Road to Cafe Pioneer Park. Parade participants should bring chairs, shade and water.
After the parade, Avantus will sponsor a “BBQ in the Park” at 10:30 a.m. at Pioneer Park, where they will offer burgers and hot dogs to the first 200 people. Chamber officials will also present float awards and ring a Liberty Bell.
Apple Valley
The City of Apple Valley will host its 26th annual Fourth of July Freedom Festival from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 at the Lenny Brewster Sports Center at 21024 Otoe Road.
The event will feature live entertainment, food and retail vendors, a beer garden and a fireworks display that begins at 9 p.m. Blankets and chairs are suggested. Pets, smoking and outside alcohol are prohibited at the event.

Barstow
The City of Barstow will host its 27th annual fireworks show on Thursday, July 4 at the Robert A. Sessions Memorial Sports Park, 2800 Mayor Katy Pkwy. The day begins at 7 a.m. with a free 4K Freedom Run at the Sports Park, with pre-registration at the Cora Harper Community Center at 841 Barstow Rd.
The park gates open at 5 p.m. for an evening of live music with Latin Express, a beer garden, food trucks and children's activities such as bounce houses, inflatable slides and other park-related activities. 'water.
The fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Arrowhead Lake

The Silver Lakes Association will host its Independence Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 in North Beach. There will be food vendors and water slides.
The fireworks start at dusk.
Titans of Rock will feature live music from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. followed by a DJ. The event is open to current ALS residents and their guests with photo ID. For more information, send an email [email protected].
Victorville
Billed as the largest fireworks show in the High Desert, the City of Victorville will host its annual fireworks show on Thursday, July 4 at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds, 14800 Seventh St. in Victorville.
The fairgrounds gates open at 4 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9 p.m.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from vendors throughout the fairgrounds. The fireworks show can also be seen outside the fairgrounds. The fireworks display will feature a simulcast of patriotic music on Kat Country 100.7 FM.
Newberry Springs
The CSD and the Newberry Springs Chamber of Commerce will host a celebration on Wednesday, July 3 from 4-9:30 p.m. at Community Park at 30884 Newberry Road.

Big bear
Free July 4th Spectacular fireworks explode over Big Bear Lake on Thursday July 4. The fireworks show begins between 8:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. and lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes and is viewable from the water, shoreline, and some trail vantage points.
Local radio station KBHR will provide musical accompaniment to the show on 93.3 FM and 102.5 FM.
The 30th annual Big Bear Lake Independence Day Fair opens at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 4, and festivities continue until 6 p.m. The fair takes place at the corner of Big Bear Boulevard and Division Drive.
The event will offer visitors a day of shopping, children's activities, live entertainment, a beer garden, food, vendors and arts and crafts booths.

Hosted by the Crestline Chamber of Commerce, a free community picnic is planned from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 30 at San Moritz Meadow in Crestline. The picnic will feature family games, food and craft vendors.
The Chamber's annual 46th Jamboree Days celebration on July 4 weekend will include a picnic, parade, festival and fireworks.
The festivities continue on Saturday, July 6 with the Jamboree Days Parade beginning at 10 a.m. along Lake Drive in Crestline. The beaches at Lake Gregory Regional Park will be open all day, as will the recently rebuilt Goodwins Market.
The chamber will have an entertainment area next to Rim Bowling and a Beer Garden with a live band in the Arrowhead Credit Union parking lot. Numerous shops, restaurants, vendors and food trucks will be available to browse and dine throughout the city. Fireworks sponsored by the Lake Gregory Company begin over the lake at 9:00 p.m.
