Nawazuddin Siddiqui reveals he was smoking, calls it a mistake, apologizes: Bada maza aata tha | Bollywood News

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui says he has tried smoking in his life and at one point he also had a lot of fun with it – only to realize later that it might not be wise to continue. The actor said he found himself in the company of certain people who motivated him to start smoking.

In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, the Gangs of Wasseypur actor was asked if he had ever tried smoking, to which Nawazuddin admitted with embarrassment, “I was in the company of some people who smoked, so even I ended up doing it. I realised later that… I don't want to promote it, I made mistakes but the advantage of it was that The trips we have taken in our lives have been a lot of fun. (the high you got was a lot of fun). But I don't want to promote it at all, it was our mistake and I want to apologize for it.

Later in the conversation, Nawazuddin said he had also tried Bhaang He said he felt like the “greatest actor in the world.” He added, “I thought people were my audience and the world was my stage. So, I would perform! Sometimes I would put myself in the shoes of Ashwatthama, Karn, Krishna and perform for hours.”
