Telugu actor Naga Shaurya supports Darshan in murder case: 'Anna will be proven innocent'
The Kannada film industry was shocked by the accusation that actor Darshan, his co-star Pavithra Gowda and their accomplices were involved in the murder of one Renukaswamy. Naga Shaurya calls Darshan generous and good-hearted
Naga captioned his Instagram post as: My heart goes out to the family of the deceased and I sincerely wish them strength during this difficult time. However, it is extremely disappointing to see people jumping to conclusions on this issue. Darshan Anna is not someone who would harm anyone, even in his worst nightmares. Those who knew him well can attest to his generosity, kindness and unwavering commitment to helping others. He always went out of his way to support those in need and was a pillar of strength to many.
He added: “I cannot, even in my darkest fears, accept this news. I have confidence in our justice system and I believe the truth will come out soon. We must also remember that another family is also suffering greatly. They deserve privacy and respect during this difficult time. I firmly believe that Anna, known for her integrity and compassion, will be exonerated and the real culprit will be brought to justice. Naga disabled comments on his post.
Darshan-Pavithra accused of Renukaswamy's murder
Renukaswamy was murdered on June 10 after allegedly sending derogatory messages to Pavithra, which angered Darshan. While there were rumors that Pavithra was Darshan's partner, the actor's lawyer denied the same and called them friends. Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi and son met him at Bengaluru Central Jail a few days ago. They even urged fans to remain patient and thanked them for their love and concern during these sensitive times.
Darshan made his acting debut in Kannada with Devara Maga. Apart from acting, he has also produced and distributed many Kannada films. His action drama Devil: The Hero is still under production.
