A popular Hollywood Studios attraction has opened ahead of schedule after a months-long closure at Disney World

For MONTHS we have been waiting for the Rock n Roller Coaster at Disney World to reopen and counting down the days until we can ride it again.

This is the second time the ride has been closed for an extended period in the last two years, and we were thrilled to hear that it would be opening EARLY on July 1st. However, we had another surprise: the ride opened even EARLIER today, June 30th!

On June 30, when we visited Rock n Roller Coaster, we were surprised to find that there was activity. After watching for a while, we realized that the ride was open!

There was not a very long line for the attraction since It seemed like a soft openingmeaning Disney World has not announced that the attraction is open. In fact, it wasn't listed as open on the My Disney Experience app or online.

When we went inside, We have not seen any major changes in the attraction or the themewhich was predictable.

But it also meant that Rock Around The Shop, the merchandise point at the end of the route, is open again! It seems that the merchandise in the store is similar to what it was before.

Some of it is related to the attraction itself, but we also noticed Stitch merchandise and more general Disney World merchandise.

The ride will officially open on July 1st, so if you missed it today, don't worry! Be prepared for longer than usual waits, however, due to the ride reopening after a closure of several months.
