Want to watch the 4th of July fireworks from Palm Beach? Here are two options
Palm Beach residents who want to stay on the island for the Fourth of July fireworks will once again be treated to two shows virtually at their doorstep, thanks to the cities of West Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach. Residents have long gathered along the Lake Trail and other spots around town to get a close-up view of the fireworks, weather permitting.
The West Palm Beach fireworks display will be launched from a barge on the Intracoastal Waterway, approximately halfway between the Royal Park Bridge and the Flagler Memorial Bridge, while the Lake Worth Beach land-based fireworks display will take place just north of the Lake Avenue Bridge.
WEST PALM BEACH
West Palm Beach's annual Independence Day extravaganza, the 4th on Flagler, takes place along the Intracoastal Waterway beginning at 6 p.m. The 36th annual event includes music on three stages, as well as a military honors ceremony, a children's entertainment zone, roving entertainment (stilt walkers), food and refreshments for purchase, and an 18-minute fireworks display that begins on the Intracoastal Waterway at approximately 9:09 p.m.
The festivities take place along Flagler Drive between Banyan Boulevard and Fern Street. Guest bands are The Zac Brown Experience (Zac Brown Tribute) and Mischief.

If you are traveling to West Palm Beach, blankets and chairs are recommended. Parking is available in public parking lots throughout the city. Parking in the City Center, Clematis, and Sapodilla garages will be a flat rate of $5. The garages closest to the event, Banyan and Evernia, will be $5 before 4pm and $10 after 4pm.

LAKE WORTH BEACH
Bryant Park along the Intracoastal Waterway remains the center of the Lake Worth Beach celebration with family-friendly festivities starting at 5 p.m. Music will be by tribute band Never Stop Believin. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m., fired from the Lake Worth Beach Golf Club, which will be closed to the public.
If you're heading to Bryant Park, bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. The park is located at 30 S. Golfview Road at Lake Avenue in downtown.lacworthbeachfl.gov
LAKE WORTH BRIDGE CLOSED
The Lake Worth Bridge will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4. All vehicles wishing to access the Lake Worth Bridge will need to detour on Federal Highway to Second Avenue North and then proceed east to the bridge. Once the bridge closes for the fireworks display, all traffic on the bridge will be detoured northbound on Federal Highway to access the Southern Boulevard Bridge. All traffic on State Road A1A will be detoured either north to the Southern Boulevard Bridge or south to the Lantana Bridge.
