Warren County Health Department Offers Walk-In Back-to-School Vaccination Clinics

VICKSBURG, Miss. The Warren County Health Department is hosting special walk-in days for back-to-school vaccinations on July 27 and August 3 from 8 a.m. to noon. Additional nursing staff will be available to administer required vaccinations quickly and efficiently. Parents should bring copies of their child's immunization records if they have them.

Mississippi requires vaccinations for first-time school entry and entry into 7th grade. A child may be exempt from vaccinations for medical or religious reasons. Parents must provide schools with a Certificate of Immunization Compliance (Form 121) prior to entry. Students entering school for the first time will also need a certified copy of their birth certificate.

Parents can obtain Form 121 from their child's immunization provider or from MSDH's MyIR service, which allows them to check records online and print or download Form 121 to submit to the school.
