Welcome to July! We’re starting the month with a holiday. I hope you enjoy your 4th of July with a juicy cheeseburger or hot dog, or both! This month, I’ve got a ton of new stuff for you, starting with the perfect summer movie: Tornadoes. This update of the 1996 classic stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos and Glen Powell. Then, the latest culinary sensation to hit the scene in New York is Ephemeral Bagelsthat are both easy to tear and easy to soak with their various splashes (yes, they're delicious). July marks the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. This is the first year that breakdancing has been featured as a sport at the Olympics, and I got to talk to Victor Montalvo, aka B-Boy Victor, the first American breakdancer to qualify. And is it even possible to talk about gymnastics without mentioning Simone Biles? She's also competing in this year's Olympics, and she's telling the story of her ultimate comeback in a four-part documentary on Netflix, Simone Biles on the rise. I can't wait for you to see it all.
