A Twitter user shared a short clip from an old interview with Salman Khan, with the caption, “This Salman Khan (red heart emoji).” In the video, Salman is seen wearing a blue printed polo shirt with jeans and a hat. He says, “Juhi is very sweet. A lovely girl. I also asked her father if he would let her marry me.” The interviewer asks, “Did you ask him? What did he say?” Salman frowns and says, “No.” When the interviewer asks him why, Salman replies, “I guess it doesn’t fit the profile. I don’t know what he wanted.”
Juhi Chawla and Salman Khan have worked together in only one film, Deewana Mastana, in which Salman made a cameo appearance. Directed by David Dhawan, the film starred Govinda and Anil Kapoor. However, fans were disappointed after seeing the video and called it a 'heartbreaking moment'.
Juhi Chawla later married businessman Jay Mehta and the couple had two children, a daughter, Jhanvi, and a son, Arjun. Salman Khan, on the other hand, is still single at 58. The actor revealed on Koffee With Karan that he was all set to marry Sangeeta Bijlani and even the wedding cards were distributed. However, just before the wedding, Salman was caught cheating and the actress called off the wedding.
Salman Khan will star in the film Sikandar, which also stars Sathyaraj, Suniel Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the action thriller is slated to release on Eid 2025.
