Some major Hollywood actors are publicly stating that they want US President Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. George Clooney recently wrote aarticle for the New York Timestitled: “I like Joe Biden. But we need a new candidate.”
Less than a month ago, headlines were about how Biden raised $30 million at a Hollywood fundraiser attended by Clooney and Julia Roberts. It was the largest fundraiser ever raised by a Democratic candidate. But that all changed after Biden’s poor debate performance two weeks ago.
