Tahira is an incredible director, says Divya Dutta

Q: What kind of role do you play in Sharmajee Ki Beti?

A: I play the role of Kiran Sharma, who comes from a small town (Patiala) but feels lost after landing in a big city like Mumbai. I have worked with many top actors like Sakshi Tanwar, Saiyami Kher, Praveen Dabas and Sharib Hashmi among others. I enjoyed working with all of them. I enjoyed the shoot. It was really fun because I had my niece and nephew with me. I played the role of a superwoman and did crazy things. It was really a wonderful time.

Q: How did you feel working with Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, the director of Sharmajee Ki Beti?

A: Tahira Kashyap Khuraana is an amazing film director. She is a perfectionist. She was very careful and knew what she expected from me as an actress. She is an ideal woman and has faced many challenges in her life. Despite this, she smiles and holds my hand tightly. With her by my side, I feel in safe hands.

Q: Would you like to share an unforgettable incident from your career?

A: I still remember that I was only 18 years old when I was filming a death scene in Veergati and I was struggling. Salman Khan came and helped me set up the scene. He suggested that I close my eyes for at least 10 minutes and breathe.

Q: Are you satisfied with the response from your audience?

A: I am very happy and satisfied that my audience and fans love my roles and appreciate my performances. I always work hard to give my best and entertain. I am grateful to God for all the love from my audience.

Q: Would you like to share any memories from your stay in Delhi?

A: I have a lot of childhood memories of Delhi. I still remember going to South Extension and the Bengali Market. I love Delhi grandpa cat and the food. I love the city, especially the food which attracts me a lot.

Q: Any upcoming projects?

A: I work in Chhaavathe second season of Bandish Bandit And A decision has been made. Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. A decision has been made is a remake of Basu Chatterjis' 1986 film of the same name.

Q: Do you use social media platforms?

A: Yes, social media is very useful today to reach the audience and we can use it in the best way. These platforms bring a lot of knowledge and we can use it in a positive way.
