Bill Maher reacts on stage to Trump assassination attempt

Bill Maher has several thoughts about the shocking assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The HBO channel Real time The host posted a video of himself on stage during his comedy show reacting to the news a few hours later.

“I unequivocally denounce [the shooting]“I don’t care what you think about this,” Maher began his show. “It’s not funny. I’m sure there will be jokes that people will make because they hate it so much that they wish it had been different. Not for me.”

And he [reacted to the shooting] as if he had repeated it! [Got it on] get one! There'll be some idiot conspiracy theorists who'll say, “Oh, they planned it.” He gets grazed and the other guy gets run over. [killed] – It is SO Trump. This is going to work for him. I can already imagine the memes: “the man the liberals couldn’t kill.” Biden can’t lead a debate and a bullet can’t stop Donald Trump. It doesn’t matter who the Democrats face now.

“Whoever did that, the shooter did so much damage to the left,” Maher continued.[The Left] “lost a lot of moral ground to 'you're the violent ones' and 'liberals don't shoot people, liberals don't solve problems that way.'”

It should be noted that the political motivations and motive of the shooter are still unclear. The alleged killer was identified by the FBI as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks. This shit has got to stop, because none of this violence is happening in a vacuum.”

“But I'm happy [Trump’s] ok. I gotta say this: he's the luckiest motherfucker to ever walk the face of the Earth. In 2016, he lost the popular vote by a wide margin, he had an inside line [in the Electoral College] “To win, everything went his way. The Democratic turmoil that's going on right now with Joe Biden as an opponent. Always lucky, lucky, lucky.”

Although Maher did not name the venue for the show, his tour schedule indicates he was at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, last night.
