Hollywood Celebrities React to Donald Trump Assassination Attempt

Much like the rest of the world, members of the Hollywood community reacted forcefully to the assassination attempt on presidential candidate Donald Trump this weekend.

While most progressive figures remained silent, a few could not help but comment. Trump supporters in Hollywood used their platforms to condemn political violence and reaffirm their support for the presumptive Republican nominee.

Country singer Jason Aldean shared the photo of Trump raising his fist as blood streamed down his face just after the bullet grazed his right ear.

I know the vibe. We're all in trouble now! rapper 50 Cent wrote next to a clip of his song Many Men (Wish Death) from the album Get Rich or Die Tryin. The singer, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is famous for being shot nine times.

He wrote in a follow-up post: “Trump gets shot and now I’m trending.” That post included a photoshopped image of Trump’s face applied to the album cover of Get Rich or Die Tryin.

Country star John Rich also commented on the situation. They couldn't beat him in a fair game, so they tried to kill him. BUT THEY MISSED, he said. wrote on X.

The Middle actress Patricia Heaton also shared her thoughts, blaming mainstream media rhetoric for inspiring the violence. “Hey MSM, you and this administration encouraged violence at the rally, stop calling Trump supporters a threat to our democracy. You are the threat,” she said. wrote.

Imagine the arrogance and narcissism of the shooter who fired into the crowd in an attempt to assassinate him, Heaton said in another message. He clearly didn’t care about eliminating a few Trump supporters, because in his eyes they didn’t deserve to live either. This is how low our politics has sunk.

Actress Roseanne Barr responded to a post by Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) blaming Republicans for the attack since the shooter was registered as a member of the party.

I expected them to accuse us of this too, Barr wrote. The gaslighting war is over: these people have no power anymore. Fornicating Chinese spy and fellow gossip Swalwell is deliberately ignoring a donation to Act Blue and open primaries where Democrats were asked to register as Republicans to undermine Trump in the primaries.

These people are bad, she added.

Fitness instructor Jillian Michaels also expressed her horror at what happened. It doesn't matter what side you're on to feel dismayed and horrified. Tesla billionaire founder Elon Musk endorsed Trump for president immediately after the assassination attempt. “I fully support President Trump and hope he recovers quickly,” Musk said. published on X.

Actress and left-wing activist Ashley Judd reacted saying she believed it was possible to defeat Trump, but not through violence.

“Any political violence of any kind, in any context, against any people, is unacceptable,” she wrote on Instagram. “I want Donald Trump defeated. I would never want him to get hurt. He is a human being with a family, just like me. My father and I hope he is doing well and we send our encouragement to his family.”

Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston also shared his thoughts on gun violence in general. “This is a tragic day,” he wrote on social media. We need to be honest and acknowledge (with deep regret) that shootings are a common method of resolving conflict in our society. And that there seems to be a disconcerting disregard for the pervasiveness of gun violence.

Cranston added: “I am relieved that Mr. Trump was not seriously injured and hope that he and the participants will seek emotional support to ease the trauma they have suffered. My thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims of this senseless act.”

“I believe we can be better. We have to be better, but at some point, shootings stopped being shocking and that's what's shocking,” the actor wrote.

Actor Jack Black, who had just attended a Democratic fundraiser for President Biden a few weeks ago, faced a backlash during an Australian stop with his band, Tenacious D. Black offered his bandmate Kyle Gass the opportunity to make a birthday wish on stage, prompting Gass to respond, “Don’t miss Trump next time.”
