Anushka Sharma was just 20 when she made her debut as a lead actress in Aditya Chopra's 2008 romantic comedy Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. However, in an old interview that resurfaced today, Anushka confessed that she was arrogant before she became an actress, not after. When Anushka confessed she was arrogant

In an old interview with fellow actor Koel Purie, Anushka is asked what is the most arrogant thing she has ever done. She replies, “I was very arrogant before I became an on-screen actress. I didn't talk to a lot of people in school and all that. I was really, really snobby.”

I am really happy that I became an actress. Because I really got a reality check when I became an actress, because of Aditya Chopra. He told me, 'You are doing the film, but you are not the most beautiful girl.' Till then, I thought I was the most beautiful girl. In my head, I was the most beautiful girl. I mean, come on! But then he told me. And I was like, 'Oh, achha (okay),'” Anushka added.

About Anushka's Career

Anushka was lauded for her debut performance in a film that also turned out to be a box-office hit.
