Hollywood celebrities react mixedly to Joe Biden's withdrawal

Many famous names posted their reactions to JB's resignation this morning – and while some thanked the president for his service, others criticized his announcement and called on him to resign.

Barbra Streisand came out quickly after the news…thanking Biden for his significant accomplishments during his single term as president – while Cardi B She rejoiced as she said it happened weeks ago.

Kathy Griffin, Mark Hamill, Billy Eichner And Rob Reiner — the latter having called on Biden to back down earlier this month — all tweeted messages of support for the Democratic Party, some paying tribute to Biden.

In a statement to TMZ, Robert De Niro In an act of patriotism, he declared: “Joe Biden is stepping down to pave the way for another Democrat to become president, because there is nothing more important to our country than defeating Donald Trump at the polls.
