Actor David Angelo Roman to Appear at Soldier Con 2024

The cover artist behind the animated hit Rick and Morty is heading to El Paso for Soldier Con at Starlight Event Center.

The event runs from September 6-8 and is free to active military members. It features everything from comics to cosplay to cars.

Artist David Angelo Roman made the announcement on his Instagram page. He wore a Rick and Morty shirt and opened the video with the show's popular tagline.

Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub, Roman said in his message. This is going to be an incredible show, look at the lineup, it's incredible.

Roman joins Hercules actor Kevin Sorbo, who also posted an article about his upcoming appearance at Sun City on social networks.

“I look forward to seeing you there,” Sorbo said. “I look forward to meeting you all.”

Sorbo will host a special VIP evening, including a meet-and-greet, a screening of an episode of Hercules and a book signing on Saturday, September 7, according to the publication.

Other notable names in attendance at Soldier Con include Fast and Furious actor Noel Gugliemi and Ryan Drummond, the voice behind the original Sonic the Hedgehog video game.

Actor Matthew De Meritt, who played ET in the 1982 film, will also be at the event for a meet-and-greet.
