Oscar Winner Halle Berry took to social media and took off her top to present flowers to her character in the 2004 film Catwoman.
The DC Comics-based film was critically panned upon its release, but Berry embraced it, notably accepting her Razzie Award for Worst Actress while holding her Best Actress Oscar in the other hand.
In the years that followed, the film that also played Sharon Stone And Benjamin Bratt has become something of a cult classic, something she references in her sexy posts, for which she used a pair of kittens she adopted after finding them in her yard to protect her modesty.
“It’s been 20 years since I had the honor of bringing this iconic character to life,” Halle began. post on social platform X.

Entertainment Weekly recently published a Oral history of the filmin which Berry spoke about the negative reaction at the time.
“As a black woman, I’m used to carrying negativity on my back, fighting, being a fish swimming against the tide all by myself,” she told the magazine.
“I have a history of defying stereotypes and finding a solution to what’s wrong… I went and got that Razzie, laughed at myself and kept moving forward,” she continued.
“Bad publicity for a movie? I didn’t like it, but it wasn’t going to change my mind or distract me from what I love doing.”
She insisted that the Catwoman experience “changed her,” adding that she went from a dog lover to a cat lover “because of that experience and those relationships.”
