Alright guys. What did you think of the first couple of days of your first camp as a member of the Chiefs team? I like the pace. It was fun, great competition. I'm so excited to continue. How different is it than what you've experienced in the past? Very different. The pace is a lot faster here. Stop pissing. I think it started way back in the off-season. And a lot of things, it made it a lot easier for me coming into the team and he got me on the same page, a lot of things with that. They had this big cast a couple days ago. You guys, you're the thing that impresses you the most now. Just the ball tracking ability. People don't know how hard it is, you know, to run and track the ball like that. So, that was impressive. How hard is it to play like that? I mean, just running at top speed, tracking the ball on the side. Um, it's not an easy thing to do, by the way. Um, Matt Maggie really complimented you on your mental acuity and that you were able to do a good job, how was that process for you? Why do you think you were able to achieve that goal? Um, I mean, that's my job, um, really, just to come out and show the guys that if I could come in and I could be on top of things and I got here, um, I was pushing everybody, um, you know, to be better and it increased the competition in the room, how Patrick was behind the scenes and kind of pushed Ali forward in that way. Yeah, good. Like I said, he, he helped me a lot long before I even got here. So it was, I was great. What do you think about the YC record, that you have the potential that you've seen right now? Um, I'm excited. Uh, you know, God willing, we all stay healthy and we continue to build, push each other. I think you know, the sky's the limit for what we could do. So you have a day off tomorrow before you put the pads on, Friday. Any special plans on how to spend your day off? I mean, spend time with my family. Uh, get my body back in shape. Uh, get ready for that. It's not that long. So you have to get ready. Anything else? You uh obviously, you know, p for *** for a while now. But I guess what was it like for you to identify your talent and see what it says and see for yourself how it matches up with what you, uh, I mean, I have a lot of confidence in myself. I mean, pat being one of the best in the game to recognize what I could bring to the table. I mean, that's, that's all, that's it, you know, I just come to help and really uh compete and try to win this game. It seems like there's been a bigger emphasis on that. Um, do you feel like there's been more emphasis on that here than there was in Arizona the last couple years in Baltimore before that for you? Oh, yeah, definitely. I mean, we made the guys do it. The Kansas City Chiefs held their fourth full practice of training camp in St. Joseph on Wednesday. The team will now have a day off on Thursday before returning for its first full practice on Friday. The team will be at Western Missouri State University for the next few weeks as the Super Bowl champions look to build chemistry ahead of the 2024 NFL season. Wednesday brought the first set of injuries of the camp. Cornerback Nazeeh Johnson left practice with a knee injury and wide receiver Justin Watson left practice on a cart after injuring his foot while sliding after a catch. Rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy was also out for a third straight practice with an ongoing illness. After practice wrapped, wide receiver Hollywood Brown, cornerback Joshua Williams and offensive coordinator Matt Nagy stepped aside to speak to reporters.
