OURS. >> BEING BACK HOME FEELS GOOD AFTER THE RUN ON AGT BUT IN GENERAL THE GREATEST SENSE I HAVE JUST HUMBLED, knowing all that has gone to happen at this moment that was able to win the show , KNOWING HOW MUCH THIS CITY, THE NATIONAL POETRY COMMUNITY TAKEN OUT, SUPPORTED AND VOTED FOR ME. THIS IS NOT A SOLO TRIP. As much as I did on stage, my words and my stories resonated in the hearts and souls of people around the world. I WILL TAKE A BREAK, ENJOY TIME WITH MY WIFE, BABY AND COME THEN PREPARE TO GET EQUIPPED FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF LIFE. I WANT TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF TAKING SOME ACTION, WRITING AND DIRECTING FOR FILMS AND TELEVISION AND RETURNING SOME OF THESE STUFF HERE TO STOCKTON TO OPEN MORE POSSIBILITIES FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE, WHO HAVE ASPIRATIONS ABOUT IT BECAUSE THE SUBJECT TO TOUCH THIS STEP CANNOT BE ME. MORE PEOPLE IN THIS CITY NEED TO GO TO LITERARY AND PERFORMING ARTS. I HAVE AN AGENT NOW SO IT IS WONDERFUL TO HAVE SOMEONE SEND ALL THE MILLS AND HE SEND ME IMPORTANT STUFFS NOT TO GET FLOODED WITH PEOPLE AND TO MAKE THIS MOMENT, I DIDN’T DON’T JUST HAVE RESOURCES AT MY DISPOSAL, BUT I HAVE A TEAM OF PEOPLE AROUND ME WHO ARE READY TO HELP ME ACHIEVE MY GOALS. IN STOCKTON, I WANT TO TELL YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT. I HAVE SEEN SO MANY POSITIONS, I HAVE SEEN SO MANY OF YOU KEEPING TO SHARE, TELL PEOPLE TO VOTE, ALL THESE THINGS AND THE FACT IS, IT’S NOT JUST A VICTORY FOR ME. THIS IS A VICTORY FOR OUR CITY. A Stockton lyric poet returns home on Friday after winning NBCs Americas Got Talent this week. Brandon Leake was named the show’s season 15 champion, winning $ 1 million and will headline a show in Las Vegas. Being back home feels great after the race on AGT, Leake said on Friday. But generally the biggest feeling I have is just humbled, knowing everything that happened to get to that point where I was able to win the series, knowing how great this city, the community of poetry is. nationally came out and supported and voted for me. This is not a solo trip. Leake said he has an agent to help him achieve his future goals. But for the immediate future, Leake said he would take some time. I’m going to take a break and hang out with just my wife, me and my baby, Leake said. And then, just get ready, get ready for the next phase of what life will be like. I want to be able to get into acting, writing and directing from film and TV and bring some of that stuff back here in Stockton. See the full story in the video above.
