Scream 5 production continues despite positive COVID-19 tests among crew
Three crew members on the set of Scream 5 have tested positive for COVID-19, although protocols in place will allow production to resume normally.
Some members of the Yell The team has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), but production is still continuing.
According to Deadline, three crew members working on the set of Scream 5 contracted COVID-19. However, filming ended as planned on Thursday, September 24, and production is expected to resume as usual on Monday, after a weekend hiatus.
To avoid film interruptions amid the COVID-19 pandemic, production teams have created a pod system that separates team members into groups and limits interaction between individuals who are not working together. the Yell Crew members who tested positive for COVID-19 were not in the main group which includes actors, director, sub-directors and director of photography. This allowed production to continue normally.

Members who have tested positive will undergo further testing and will be quarantined for the safety of their colleagues. The production team also conducts a contact tracing to determine who had been in contact with these people. It should not delay or stop production, and Yell is still ready to hit theaters as scheduled.
Announced earlier this year, the nextYell the film will bring back David Arquette as Dewey Riley, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers and Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott. However, it will also add new faces to the crew including Jack Quaid, Jenna Ortega, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, and Mikey Madison.
