Sources said BCN was certain Kshitij had contact with a few Bollywood celebrities and was involved in the drug trade. The BCN would examine in detail the involvement of these celebrities before summoning them for questioning, sources said.
BCN allegedly recovered documents, WhatsApp chats and a weed seal from Kshitijs Versova, which led to his arrest. Kshitij briefly worked with Karan Johar as an executive producer with Dharmatic Entertainment.

His lawyer and his family (mother) were informed in accordance with the procedure. He was also allowed to meet his stepfather and his wife at the MZU office, he said.

According to Kshitijs’ dismissal request, he bought hash / ganja from Arneja, Keshwani and is therefore part of a conspiracy to buy drugs with Arneja and other drug sellers. Officials said the link extended to drug trafficker Kaizan Ibrahim, who was in contact with Sushants’ cook Deepesh Sawant.
NCB officials said they also asked for Kshitijis’ bank details, including his digital wallet platform, to trace the number of people buying drugs from him. We need to check the extent of his network, who his suppliers were, who all bought from him, if there are others who were part of that network and the method of payment.
