Actor Emperor Palpatine Ian McDiarmid confirms cut clone line from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Emperor Palpatine actor Ian McDiarmid recently confirmed that confirmation that his character was a clone had been cut from Star Wars: The Rise of Walker.
McDiarmid's comments, seen below, come after Romanization Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker restored Palpatine to a clone.

In Romanization, it is revealed that the spirit of Palpatine is housed in a clone body.

McDiarmid explains, "Of course there were all kinds of explanations that I could come back to."
