Last month Tamannaah Bhatia tested positive for Covid-19 then filming for his Telugu show and was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad. The five-day hospitalization was followed by 15 days of isolation at home Hyderabad house that ended on Tuesday. On Wednesday evening, the actress returned to Mumbai.

It has been a crazy time. I was fine when, one day after packing, I developed a fever. The next morning I got admitted as there were other symptoms of Covid, she said, confirming that no one else on set had tested positive. She advises people not to overlook any symptoms, be it fatigue or muscle aches, regardless of their age.

By the end of August, Tamannaah’s parents had also tested positive for Covid-19 and she admits she thought the worst was over. When I tested positive too, it hit me very hard, she shares, pointing out that there is a lot of information on what to do to avoid falling prey to the virus, but not much on how to handle it. There is a phobia about going to the hospital, but I have found that the faster you react, the better.

Tamannaah admits she is relieved not to be with her parents when she contracted the virus. It would have been a problem. Here my producer and the whole team were with me every step of the way, she says. Her parents eventually flew to Hyderabad although she could not meet them. Their physical presence gave me mental security. There was a phase during my illness where I was on my own and had to face everything on my own. Emotionally, seeing my parents in pain was exhausting, but physically, going through it on my own affected me more, she said, applauding the medical professionals who put her back on her feet.

For now, Tamannaah’s future course of action is to rehabilitate herself and boost her immunity. I also wonder how and when I can get back to training while doing yoga even in isolation. I want to make a full recovery before I go back to work, but I don’t have the luxury of taking a long break. Also, given the kind of person I am, I don’t think I’ll be able to be away from work for too long. I am giving myself one more week to return to the set, she concludes.

Mirror Exclusive: Masks on, it’s back to work for Bollywood stars and celebrities

Resumption of work on film and television sets

There is nothing normal about the times we live in, but it’s time to start bringing some semblance of normalcy back into our lives. Bollywood seems to have started on that note too, with the resumption of filming and extra precautions, whether on sets with the limited number of crews allowed to be present or regular disinfection and masks and PPE becoming commonplace on cinema and television sets. Unlock 4 is well and truly underway, and celebrities, Bollywood stars, and film and TV crews are back to work. In this photo feature, Mirror photographers bring you candid shots of Bollywood stars and celebrities as they return to work – masks in place.

Tamannaah Bhatia

It was a brief stop in the city but we were able to trace the magnificent Tamannaah Bhatia back to Mumbai. She will reprise the role of Tabus in director Sriram Raghavan Andhadhun’s Telugu remake, and the actress is delighted. The main role of the blind pianist was played by Ayushmann Khurrana in the Hindi version. Tamannaah steps into the shoes of the character played by Tabu. Pointing out that the black comedy crime thriller paved the way for a new kind of cinema, she explains that audiences today are more accepting of flawed characters. This makes them a lot more human and easier to understand, Tamannaah points out, adding that if the film is ever remade with a female protagonist, lose love in place of Ayushmann as well. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
