Home Plates, a Hollywood restaurant, teams up with the Dodgers to deliver home favorites
The Hollywood Home Plates restaurant offers Dodger fans a chance to have some of the basic experience at home.
The restaurant has partnered with the team to deliver fan favorites like Dodger Dogs, Peanuts and Cracker Jacks during the World Series to homes in Hollywood, West Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.
Home Plates opened in July, when this pandemic shortened season began.
For the first game of the World Series, 300 families placed their order for food delivery – only available through Postmates.
“I’m really happy to do our best to provide great hot food and a bit of the stadium ball for their home fans,” said Michael Jacobs, CEO of Home Plates.
Jacobs is hoping that foodservice becomes an even bigger hit as the Dodgers look to win their first World Series in over 30 years.
