50 Cent retracts on Donald Trump’s endorsement
50 Cent was the subject of much criticism earlier this week after approving the re-election of President Donald Trump. The mogul now goes back to his previous position and says he never liked the politician.
The rapper shared a video of his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handlers’ appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Saturday (October 24), in which she spoke of her ex’s support for the president. The comedian spoke out on 50 backing Trump after saying he wouldn’t want to pay more taxes if Joe Biden were elected president, and even volunteered to pay his old taxes.

The emcee has come under fire since he shared a post on Instagram earlier this week about Bidens’ alleged tax plan once he is elected. He shared a screenshot of the tax rates proposed by presidential candidates for the states of California, New Jersey and New York. The list also included the tax rates for New York City. CNBC reported that as part of Bidens’ new plan, he would impose federal and state tax rates of 62% on people who earn more than $ 400,000 or more per year in New York and California. People who earn under this year, however, would receive tax cuts under the plan.
