ZEE Entertainment donates 20 ambulances, 4,000 PPE kits and 150,000 daily meals to Rajasthan

(EEZ) Today, in line with its nationwide CSR campaign against Covid-19, officially handed over critical healthcare equipment to the state of Rajasthan, further stepping up its fight against Covid-19. In the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Ashok Gehlot, the ambulances were handed over to the government of Rajasthan.

The Company used the sanctioned CSR budget (for the fight against Covid-19) to provide the following essential elements to the State:

• Ambulances 20 ambulances donated to the State.
• PPE kits (personal protective equipment) 4,000 kits donated to the State.
• Daily meals 1 50,000 daily meals to be provided to migrants and daily workers.

In its nationwide CSR effort to improve the country’s health infrastructure against Covid-19, ZEE pledged to donate over 240 ambulances, over 46,000 PPE kits, over 90 oxygen humidifiers and 6,000,000 meals a day. The donation to the State of Rajasthan is part of this CSR approach at the national level.

At the national level, ZEE has also financially supported more than 5,000 daily employees working directly or indirectly with the company. In addition, more than 3,400 employees have contributed to the PM CARES fund. The amount generated was matched by ZEE, and the collective profits were donated to the PM CARES Fund.
