Legendary gospel singer joins forces with Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy on the inspiring “All in it Together”
Celebrity songs inspired by the COVID-19 crisis have been, uh, hit and miss so far. But Mavis Staples, 80, and his loyal collaborator Jeff Tweedy have managed to raise the bar with “All in it Together”. I guess it was recorded before the crown (maybe during the sessions for If All I Was Was Black produced by Tweedy in 2017?), But the uplifting and folk song is perfect for that time. Staples had this to say about this in a press release:

The song was produced by Tweedy of Wilco, who also plays the guitar and sings on the track.
