This kind of improvisation and looseness doesn’t exactly match an actor’s work in a movie, which often includes carefully calibrated intimate and calm scenes. Another difference is that by its very nature professional wrestling is a soap opera mixed with sport. Emotions are heightened in scenarios that are intentionally exaggerated. Wrestlers who have become the most successful actors, like Bautista, know how to use the positives they have learned in the square circle while avoiding bad habits.

Another interesting point of divergence is that in the eyes of most wrestling fans, Bautista was not considered a particularly gifted actor for most of his original run in WWE.
