The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina recently released its fourth season, and for avid fans, eight episodes may not have been enough. With no confirmation of a fifth season yet, here are seven more supernatural and wizarding shows to fill the void.

Supernatural

Supernatural is a logical next step for fans of The chilling adventures of Sabrina, mainly because of its shared supernatural theme. The series follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers on a mission to uncover the mystery behind their mother’s death. Take a strong dose of inspiration X files, Supernatural Also includes a Monster of the Week subplot where boys encounter creatures ranging from vampires and witches to shapeshifters and demons.

Coven follows a young girl who is sent to a girls’ academy after demonstrating unusual powers. The academy is an appearance for a clan, ruled by the all-powerful Supreme Witch, Fiona Goode. When the time comes for a new Supreme, Fiona won’t give up her position without a fight. CovenHer success is largely attributed to her performances, with Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates earning Emmys for their nominated categories. Global, Coven is ideal for viewers looking for the witchy vibe that The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina delivered so well.

Salem

Stick to the witch theme, Salem delivers supernatural horror with period decor. Based loosely on the infamous 1692 Salem With Trial, the series focuses on Mary Sibley, a powerful witch. She generates hysteria among the Puritans to distract from her devil summoning plan, which is thwarted when her former lover, John Alden, returns to Salem. Despite being canceled after three seasons, Salem remains WGN America’s top rated series. Although the show has more elements of Gothic romance than The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Spellmans fans should be intrigued by the historical perspective of witches Salem has to offer.

The Vampire Diaries has an anguished teenage vibe similar to The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina but exchange witches for vampires. Premiered in 1998 on The WB, Charm is the quintessential witch series from the late 90s and early 2000s. Three sisters discover that they are descendants of a family of witches. While learning to balance their powers and a “normal life”, the trio come face to face with the forces of evil and must use the “Power of Three” to protect the innocent. Charm was critically acclaimed, earning him eight seasons before The WB closed.
