Throughout the 2019-2020 season, the Missouri State male basketball coaching staff showed up and showed up on their best Sunday. From all-brown suits to fancy cufflinks and Cole Haan Zerogrand shoes, Bears coaches know how to dress.

The staff did not disappoint for the Missouri Valley conference tournament. They brought their A-game. Here's how I classify the five essential staff members for the semifinal matches:

No. 1 Jase Herl – Second year assistant coach

Herl is the obvious winner and gets an A + for today's outfit choice.

He paired navy skinny suit pants with a crisp white button. He decided to give up a tie but made up for it with a superb jacket.

On the top of his shirt, Herl wears a dusty light blue two-button jacket with white buttons on the front, as well as on the sleeves. The white buttons are aesthetic with the white shirt.

The assistant coach accessorized his outfit with brown moccasins. Although moccasins are not practical for training a basketball game, they are beautiful to look at.

No. 2 Dana Ford – Second year head coach

Ford is always dressed as new during training and arrives at a very close second place.

Second-year head coach receives an A today.

Ford wears a modern gray slim fit suit. His two button jacket is accessorized with an Arch Madness pin. He finished his look with a dusty brown tie, a black belt and what appears to be a black Cole Haan Zerogrands.

No. 3 Sheldon Everett – Director of Second Year Basketball Operations

Everett, who can sometimes be overlooked, stands out today. He receives an A-.

He wears a classic navy suit over a light blue dress shirt. The director of basketball operations also decided to give up a tie today, but I think a tie would have been a great addition to his look and would have given it a better rating.

Everett also wears the Arch Madness lapel pin, as well as a brown belt and brown dress shoes.

# 4 Corey Gipson – Fifth Year Assistant Head Coach

I've seen better Gipson outfits, so I'm slightly disappointed. He receives a B-.

Gipson wears a shiny taupe suit with a white dress shirt and a plum tie. His suit is loose and the tie is a little too purple, that's where he lost me. I think a tie clip could have added more to his score to make up for the lost points.

He accessorized the lapel pin, a black pocket handkerchief and these may have been team shoes from last season.

No. 5 Jake Headrick – Second year assistant coach

Unfortunately, Headrick received the lowest score of the day, C.

The assistant coach wears a light gray suit with a brown belt and brown shoes. Normally, I love this color combination. However, the outfit seems to swallow it.

Under the jacket, he wears a light gray-blue dress shirt. I love that he opted for a different look other than a white dress shirt. But then he added an orange tie that I can't get on.

Honorable mention Leighton Kentwell – graduate assistant

Today, an honorable mention goes to graduate assistant Leighton Kentwell. Her look receives a B.

Aside from the top five staff, I was most impressed with her outfit. He wears dark gray pants, a white dress shirt, a brown belt and shoes. At the top, he wears a brown jacket and a brown tie.

Although I love the school spirit in the brown jacket, it doesn't tie as well in the bottom half of her outfit.

Overall, the Missouri State coaches were the best dressed staff of the entire weekend. My mom always told me: look good, play well. This may be the motto of the Bears staff.
