Olivia Rodrigo epitomized easy elegance in a nude dress at the 2023 Grammys.
The musician took to the red carpet wearing a sheer black dress, which showed off a plain black bralette and hot shorts underneath. Rodrigo accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a black bean necklace, earrings and an array of silver rings.
Although the “driver’s license” singer isn’t nominated this year, she is on tonight’s list of star-studded presenters. Other presenters include Cardi B, Shania Twain, First Lady Jill Biden, James Corden, Viola Davis, Dwayne Johnson and Billy Crystal.
Rodrigo made her Grammys debut last year, when she garnered seven nominations for her debut studio album, Sour. She won Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
In a 2022 interview with SHE, Rodrigo hinted at what fans can expect from his upcoming projects.
“I am certainly not as sad as when I wrote Sour,” she told the magazine. “I’m so excited to make my next record and explore more colors and textures and feelings and grow even more as a human being. I’m really happy for that.”
While she now has “a bit of distance” from the intense emotions that inspired her to write songs like “driver’s license” and “traitor”, she added, “I feel so proud to them and it’s so fun to sing them now. … And I just think when you put them out in the world and they help people and make them happy, it’s not as devastating anymore. And that’s something very stimulating.
