Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to visit Ayodhya today, reviewing plans ahead of Ram Temple event

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath will visit Ayodhya today (i.e. August 3, Monday) to take measures of preparations for the founding ceremony of the foundation stones of the Ram Temple on August 5.

The Prime Minister was scheduled to visit Ayodhya yesterday but it was canceled due to the ouster of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kamal Rani Varun who was receiving treatment for COVID-19.

Earlier, on July 25, CM Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya and said the COVID-19 protocols should be followed ensuring that the Ram temple stone-laying ceremony in Ayodhya is excellent and one-of-a-kind.

Earlier yesterday, Ashok Tiwari, Sant sampark pramukh and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) central office secretary said Ganesh pooja will be performed on August 3rd followed by Ram Archana on August 4th.

“On August 3, there will be Ganesh poetry starting at 8 am and Ram Archana on August 4 and on August 5 there will be` bhoomi pujan “by the Prime Minister. “Kashi and Ayodhya Vedic gurus will perform this pooja,” he said.

Preparations, including a cleaning and sanitation machine, are underway in Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Temple’s founding ceremony on August 5th.

According to police, security measures have been put in place for the stone-laying ceremony and people are being asked to refrain from gathering at a place.

Some areas in Ayodhya are being illuminated with diy (clay lamps) and multicolored lights.

According to potters in the state, about 1.25 lakh diyas were ordered for the highly anticipated ceremony on August 5th.

The prime minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5, according to Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, president of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust Teertha Kshetra.

Construction of the Ram temple will begin after the groundbreaking ceremony in which the Prime Ministers of several states, Ministers from the Union Cabinet and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat are likely to attend.
