Download Festival announces 2021 event lineup – including KISS, Biffy Clyro, System Of A Down
The organizers of the Download Festival today unveiled more than 70 acts set to perform at next year’s event.
Rock fans are certainly looking forward to the return of the huge annual event, which took place in Donington Park, Leicestershire, after this year’s festival was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Now there’s a lot to look forward to for the 2021 event – including headliners KISS, Biffy Clyro and System Of A Down, as well as many other of the world’s most exciting bands in rock, punk, hardcore and metal, includingDeftones, KORN, Steel PantherandThe distillers.
The three-day festival will take place June 4-6, 2021 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, with tickets going on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday August 7 viadownloadfestival.co.uk/tickets.
After a 45-year career that launched an era of rock, KISS will perform at the Download Festival 2021, in a UK exclusive.

With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, 2020 was set to be their last download appearance, but due to Covid-19, they will be bringing their show to holy places in 2021 instead.
The 2021 Download Festival will be headlining System Of A Down, also exclusively in the UK. With just five studio albums, the Californian / Armenian group gained worldwide popularity, never failing to put on a stunning performance.
Returning to Donington after their 2017 headline, Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro, who will headline the festival again in 2021. With the band set to release their ninth studio album, A Celebration Of Endings, this month here, the trio will be keen to show off new tracks as well as some of their most famous hits, including The Captain, Mountains and Many Of Horror.
Rock fans will also be able to watch the mighty Steel Panther, punk kings of popA Day To Remember, the mysterious Creeper, recently returned from a hiatus, punk legendsRise Against and Internet sensation Poppy.
Returning to Donington in 2021, Deftones. Since their inception, the multi-platinum and Grammy-Winning alternative rock band from Sacramento have released seven albums and sold over 10 million albums worldwide, including fan-favorite tracks My Own Summer (Shove It), Change (House Of Flies), and Swerve City.
With 13 albums already behind them, Korn will be back too. The two-time Grammy Award-winning group have traveled the world countless times and continued to push the boundaries of the rock, alternative and metal genres, while remaining a mainstay of influence for legions of fans and generations of fans. artists from all over the world.
