US First Lady Jill Biden opted for a sartorial nod to diplomacy at President Joe Biden's state dinner in France on Saturday, stepping out in a navy velvet dress from the House of French couture Schiaparelli to greet the First Lady of France Brigitte Macron.
The state dinner celebrating the long-standing alliance between the United States and France was attended by Bernard Arnault, Hélène Mercier-Arnault, François-Henri Pinault, Salma Hayek, Pharrell Williams, Helen Lasichanh, Nicolas Sarkozy, Carla Bruni, John McEnroe. and Léa Seydoux among the guests present.
