Jake Paul launches men's body care line at Walmart

Jake Paul is taking over the body with a line of men's grooming essentials.

The 27-year-old boxer stepped out of the ring and into the skincare labs, creating three products expected to sell for less than $10.

In conversation with CNBC On June 12, Paul took a deep dive into his new entrepreneurial venture titled W, a reference to the triumph of victory. As of now, his line of body sprays, body washes, and antiperspirants will be sold at Walmart, but Paul plans to expand the collection and eventually offer it on Amazon. The hope is that the company will also be able to create shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser and hair gel.

His motivation? A seemingly stagnant industry that has continually offered the same products for two decades.

We saw this old, outdated category where competitors had been on the shelves the exact same way for 20 years, he told the outlet. We just thought we had a better vision, a better product and we could disrupt this whole space.

The YouTubers' brother, Logan, has already launched his own company: Prime. The 29-year-old professional wrestler makes and sells a tasty variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated sports drinks, as well as hydration sticks for boys and men.

In their eyes, the two brothers are venturing down new paths, replacing their well-known titles as influencers with business leaders. Paul's younger brother compared him and his brother to the Kardashians, coining a new nickname for them: the testosterone Kardashians.

There is a large open market for designer-led, boy-focused products, Paul pointed out.

While Paul believes the market is barren for the variety of products created by designers for women, several celebrities have developed product collections for men. Most recently, Dwayne Johnson announced his new brand Papatui, a men's skincare line, sold at Target.

Johnson, 52, has launched a line of offerings ranging from facial toner to 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. Her prices range from $7.99 to $124.99 for The Big Papa package.

The actor was met with a wave of confused fans, questioning his decision to release shampoo and conditioner when he has no hair on his head.
