The world missed the stunning detail of Princess Kates' Trooping the Color dress

Eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that Catherine, Princess of Wales, recycled the stunning dress she wore for Trooping the Color.

On June 15, at the royal event, Kate wore a white dress by British designer Jenny Packham with a navy and white striped ribbon on the neckline.

At first, royal watchers thought the mother of three was wearing a new dress in honor of her return to public life after announcing she was battling cancer in March.

The 42-year-old revealed she was undergoing chemotherapy after an unspecified form of cancer was discovered during a major abdominal operation in January.

At the time, Kate and Williams' office said she would not return to public duty until her doctors confirmed she was well enough to do so.

In a statement the day before Trooping the Color, Kate said she was looking forward to attending the parade with her family and hoped to participate in other public engagements over the summer, but knew that she wasn't out of the woods yet.

Looking happy and relaxed on Saturday, Kate attended Trooping the Color alongside her three children, George, 10, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6, wearing her recycled dress.

She first wore it in May 2023 to meet well-wishers outside Buckingham Palace ahead of King Charles' coronation.

To update the look, the designers added a different belt and a striped bow at the collar, giving it a new lease of life.

She added a Philip Treacy hat and wore the Irish Guards regimental brooch, as the Princess is the Honorary Colonel of the Guards.
