The 2024 BET Awards featured a slew of stars in fashionable threads on the red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday. Taraji P. Henson joined the night's other A-list stars and nominees, making a grand entrance before taking over as the night's host. “The Color Purple” star glowed from head to toe in her designer look.
For the 2024 BET Awards, Henson made a custom sleeveless gown courtesy of Balmain. The column dress featured an ornate combination of fringe, rhinestones, and chains. The straps of Henson's dress were designed in a chain-link style, which was included throughout the bodice and skirt of the actress' look.

Henson's custom dress also featured a particular trend that has been adopted by a number of celebrities in recent times. The bodice of the Oscar-nominated actress's dress included a plunging neckline bra made from black fabric, adding a striking color contrast to the gold of Henson's dress.
