Maternity, menopause, misogyny are all undeniable obstacles to a woman's career development. But is the fashion industry as harsh on women as we think? We felt that the people who could really answer this question were fashion executives at the top of their game.

In my opinion, the fashion industry is progressing faster than many other sectors. Take Kering, for example, we have several women at the helm of our houses. Personally, I haven’t encountered many obstacles in my career. Although I chose engineering, which is traditionally considered a male option, the atmosphere was friendly and supportive. Several of my male peers have become close friends.

As you begin your career, I believe it is essential to have a diverse support network. Whether it is a group of people or an individual acting as a mentor, finding a source of strength and inspiration is essential to guide you throughout your journey.

What should we leave behind? Fear, for each of us. Prejudice against women, for all of us. While I'm not a strong advocate of quotas, there's no denying that they can accelerate progress at certain points along the way.
