Eva Amurri responds to critics 'outraged' by her breasts in strapless wedding dress

Eva Amurri won't let anyone ruin her party, not even enemies.

In fact, she would like to invite anyone who has a problem with her wedding dress to take a closer look, because she loves it.

Amurri, the daughter of Susan Sarandon and director Franco Amurri, married chef Ian Hock on June 29 in a stunning strapless gown by Kim Kassas. Recapping her big day (which she shared exclusively with PEOPLE) on her Instagram Stories on June 30, the actress and lifestyle blogger captioned a photo with her new husband, “To all those outraged that my boobs aren’t ‘put away’…”

“Feel free to screenshot this for later,” Amurri, 39, added over a zoomed-in photo of her chest with a kissing face emoji.

Amurri’s dress was a corseted creation she purchased from Bridal Reflections in New York. “I love how vintage it is and how it’s super feminine without being too baggy,” she told PEOPLE. “I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes that perfect balance.”

She paired it with a dramatic veil that gathered around her and only amplified the glamour.

The wedding, which took place in Wind Rift Room The ceremony took place in New York's Hudson Valley, in front of 40 guests and a lot of rain, Amurri also revealed on her Instagram Stories. She wrote on social media that they had to change their ceremony at the last minute and that the hairdo she spent two hours on turned out to be “questionable.”

But she didn't care, because everything went exactly as planned. She also joked that everyone's skin looked beautiful in the rain.

Their wedding was themed like a French garden party (and her mom even played on that theme with a floral suit from SuitShop!). They also used a lot of “natural colors” throughout the decor, to give it a whimsical yet earthy feel. The couple also wanted the day to be quite low-key and intimate.

We wanted to write our own love letters to read as vows, which was so special to us, she told PEOPLE. We also didn't have a bridal party outside of the kids, and it was perfect. [her son] He walked me down the aisle, which was an experience I will never forget.

Amurri's three children, daughter Marlowe Mae, 9, and sons Major James, 7, and Mateo Antoni, 4, whom she shares with ex-husband Kyle Martino, attended the ceremony. She had all three of her children participate in a hand-tied wedding with ribbons they picked out with her and Hock.

After the ceremony, she donned a second look: a Kim Kassas minidress with feathers, floral lace and sequins. “I paired it with custom Nike Air Force Ones, which were beaded and had our wedding date on them. It was like Priscilla Presley meets street style!”
