GmbH Spring/Summer 2025 at Berlin Fashion Week

Berlin Fashion Week has officially begun. After closing out the menswear season in Milan and Paris, the fashion crowds have fled to Germany for even more epic shows. As it closes Paris Fashion Week with a ceremonial collection in January, Berlin-based label GmbH is returning home for Spring/Summer 2025.

GmbH is the hottest name on the program, embodying dark heroism in Berlin’s summer rains. Co-founders Serhat Ik and Benjamin Huseby ignited the first afternoon of SS25 by opening an academic dystopia filled with manipulative silhouettes and grandiose miniatures. GmbH collaborated with traditional Middle Eastern musicians to fill the showcase with percussive drums, the brand staging its return on the roof of the Tempodrom performance center in central Berlin.

GmbH’s SS25 collection was presented with a contemporary twist, with dark moods revealed in deconstructed co-ed looks. The German brand remixed sportswear with dark varsity uniforms in true GmbH style, with striped running tops and pom-pom short shorts swooping into the first look with purpose. Next, disassembled dresses blew against the rain with a theatrical edge, while wide-shouldered polos and slit shorts sported the school’s “Love & Justice” logos. Cropped military jackets donned double-layered collars and rounded chest pockets while shimmering textiles shone on distorted bras and manipulated hems. Elsewhere, branded swimwear was tied together with printed bows for an unexpected surprise, followed by asymmetrical hoodies and hooded suits with a mysterious edge.
