From New York to Paris, a guide to the fall fashion calendar

Fall is almost here, so you know what time it is: It's time to fill your fall fashion calendar with stylish events, cocktails, and runway shows.

It's not just where, but what to wear, as fall fashion will be in full swing from August through October, all over the world.

Several cities are set to launch their spring/summer 2025 collections. Here's a quick guide to fall's fashion events, from Lagos to Los Angeles and beyond.

Copenhagen Fashion Week

If a fashion week has the power to compete with the four biggest fashion weeks in the world, it must be Copenhagen Fashion Week. Its Scandinavian side brings a minimalist but colorful touch to street style, and the photos are always stunning. Recent highlights of their shows include Gypsy Sport and Luis De Javier. Their next edition will take place October 17-19 and promises more experiences, shows, and an all-around West Coast vibe.

Dallas Clothing and Accessories Market

THE Dallas Clothing and Accessories Market is a Dallas, Texas market taking place at the Dallas Market Center from October 22-25, featuring thousands of wholesale businesses specializing in women's clothing, accessories, footwear, beauty and wellness products. The Kings of Amsterdam

The world-renowned denim event takes place at the Sugar Factory in Amsterdam on October 23-24. Pivots Taking place five times a year in New York, Amsterdam and Hong Kong, expect to see the latest and greatest from the denim community, with a focus on sustainability.

Lagos Fashion Week

If there is one city in Nigeria that is gaining popularity for its fashion, it is Lagos. FashionBar, The Fashion Shows

In Chicago, FashionBar, The Fashion Shows is the Windy City’s answer to fashion week. Running from October 15 to 28, the weeklong event showcases established and emerging Chicago designers, including Rosa Loredo, IAMTONYLONG and more. FashionBar CEO Tony Long will direct the shows alongside creative director Pipine Taya. Non-binary fashion will have a place here, as well as luxury clothing, streetwear and couture. “When we think of New York, Los Angeles and Miami, there’s also a defined identity, but there’s no identity around Chicago,” Long said. “So the goal is to identify Chicago as a fashion destination with inclusion, diversity and culture.”
