Paige DeSorbo addressed her recent controversy regarding wearing a sexy see-through dress to her friend's wedding.

The controversy arose after she shared photos with her Instagram of herself in this striking black lace dress with a high slit up the leg, and commenters had mixed opinions – some complimenting her look while others called it “inappropriate”.

She explained that the couple's event was not a “typical wedding” – noting that there were “acrobatic dancers inside the flower petals.”

The 31-year-old reality star continued: “She loves glitz and glamour. She's also a stylist. So I knew going into her wedding that the looks were going to be crazy. I was maybe one of 15 girls wearing sheer dresses.”

She shut down rumors that she stole the spotlight from the bride and said the bride “loved” her look. DeSorbo's friends who attended the event in formal wear also saw no problem with the dress.

We sent all our dresses into a chat group and not one person batted an eyelid. She continued, one of the other girls was in a completely pure [dress] that had like green glitter on it, so I was like, “Oh, we're really good.”

While her style choice was approved, she took a sideways look at some of the guests' dress choices, including “a lot of girls wearing white” at the pre-wedding events. She even said one woman wore a “pale yellow” dress to the ceremony that looked more like “ivory.”

“I looked her up and down and thought, 'You should be ashamed of yourself,'” DeSorbo said of the fashion faux pas, before admitting she felt like it was “a little bit of karma.”
