In memory of Caleb’s courage: supporters disguise themselves as superheroes in honor of a beloved boy

It was a powerful day in Sydney, N.S. as people turned to social media – dressed in their best superhero attire – to mark the 5th annual Calebs Superhero Day.

Caleb MacArthur died of cancer in 2015, a month before his 4th birthday.

The beloved boy was known to dress as his favorite superhero, Superman, while undergoing treatment at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Now, every year on March 24, people honor his memory by disguising himself as a favorite superhero.

This year, due to physical restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, people turned to social media instead to show off their costumes.
