The Business of Fashion is looking for a results-driven Business Development Director with a proven track record of B2B sales success to help drive the growth of BoF Professional. BoF Professional is now one of the leading information, learning and development platforms to help drive retention and growth within fashion brands.

This role will focus on selling our BoF Professional corporate subscription products to fashion and luxury companies.

What we need from you

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing company as a key member of its sales team. This role will be based in our London office and will report to the Associate Director, Business Development, who leads B2B Professional sales globally. Add here

By succeeding in this role, you:

  • Proactively seek to develop new business with organizations for BoF Professional, selling to potential partner brands in the fashion and beauty industries across the UK and EU
  • Identify potential sales goals and manage the sales pipeline
  • Act as a brand ambassador for BoF, with knowledge of our businesses and product content
  • Responsible for all relevant administrative tasks related to delivered sales, such as setting up account users, invoicing, tracking sales, etc.
  • Oversee the growth of key partner accounts, including renewal, identification of upselling opportunities and management of ongoing relationship needs
  • Work closely with the sales, finance and marketing team

Who are you

  • Responsible for results and process oriented business development, ideally within B2B, fashion or online media companies. A subscription-based sales experience is beneficial.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting / exceeding revenue targets
  • Highly organized and able to work independently and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding and passion for fashion and retail
  • Very professional and able to act as BoF ambassador
  • Willingness to roll up the sleeves in a scale-up atmosphere

  • You meet or exceed your sales targets
  • Sourcing and closing sales of BoF Professional subscriptions leading the growth of B2B clients and multinationals in the fashion, luxury and related industries
  • Work well with the existing sales team, to support existing partners and achieve team goals
