LAHORE, March 7 (APP): Prime Minister's special assistant Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Saturday that the government was determined to revive the film industry and relocate cinemas to represent the soft image of Pakistans around the world and promote Pakistani culture. , Islamic ideology and philosophy according to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

She was addressing a press conference after chairing a meeting of film industry players here at the PID office, while the president of the Association of Film Producers Amjad Rasheed, the president from the Association of Film Operators Zoraiz Lashari, renowned film producer Syed Noor and Zakria Butt also accompanied him.

Dr Firdous believed that the brighter face of Pakistani tourism could not be brought to light without relocating cinemas and local production of films depicting Pakistani culture and Islamic values.

Dr. Fidous Ashiq Awan also reiterated the Prime Minister's vision and message to film producers that they should promote Pakistani culture and tradition and, being Muslims, they focus on values, Islamic philosophy and ideology when making films. Since the number of Sikh yatrees from around the world coming to Pakistan has increased more and more with the creation of the Kartarpur corridor, these films must therefore also be produced locally, which has provided them with entertainment (Sikhs) here.
