As part of the week-long Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsavs Celebrating Innovation Ecosystem event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with startups from various fields and hear presentations made by them at 10:30 am today via video conference.
These startups were divided into six groups and each group would make a presentation to the Prime Minister on different topics “growing from the roots”, “nudging DNA”, “from local to global”, “technology from future’, ‘creating champions in manufacturing’ and ‘sustainability’.
Each group will then make a presentation to Modi. The Prime Minister’s interaction with startups aims to understand how startups can successfully contribute to the needs of nations.
The PM office added that PM Modi strongly believes in the potential of startups to contribute to the growth and development of the nation. The momentous success of the past few years, the PMO added, had a huge impact on the startup ecosystem in the country and led to a meteoric growth of unicorns in the country.
